What does learning a foreign language depend on?

What does learning a foreign (non-native) language depend on?
Learning a foreign language depends on:
1– If the foreign language you want to learn is similar to or far from your language of birth or upbringing.
2– If you know more than one language in addition to your language of birth or upbringing..
3- If you live or have lived in a place where the foreign language you want to learn is spoken. This also depends on how long you have lived in these places and how old you were when this happened.
4- And the most important of all factors: the time you can dedicate to the study of this new language, during the course and outside the course, always taking into account points 1, 2 and 3.
According to the La vida en español school’s point of view, these four points mean that the time required to learn a foreign language is not fixed, but rather approximate.
Although these 8 (eight) levels respond to the structure of our Spanish school, they are aligned with international learning frameworks and related linguistic competencies.
Every person’s learning journey is different. Our cultural circumstances are absolutely relevant.

The 8 (eight) levels we offer at La vida en español respond to the structure of our school, but are aligned with the international learning frameworks and their linguistic competencies:

All variants of Spanish
At this point, it should be clarified that, although the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is a standard designed to regulate the learning, teaching and evaluation of a language, it is a standard developed in Europe.
In Latin America and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, we still do not have this regularization from our continent. This means that, in this case, to learn, teach and evaluate Spanish, this standard is based on the Spanish of Spain.
Therefore, La vida en español intends to follow this Framework, but ALWAYS taking into account the linguistic variants of Spain, as well as those spoken in Latin American and Caribbean regions, including migrants who speak Spanish in other non-Spanish-speaking countries, such as Spanish in the United States or Canada, for example.
In addition, at La vida en español, we have a policy that has to do with the independence of our languages, that is, we support Mexican Spanish, Argentine Spanish, Colombian Spanish, Dominican Spanish, etc. We are also in favor of Quebec French, Brazilian Portuguese or Jamaican English, just to mention a few.
